HR Director Career Opportunity/Fortune 500 Bn Company/Resume Request

The Business Unit is composed of 3 sites, with over $100M in revenue and approximately 150 employees based at these three sites along with remote locations across the world.

This is an essential member of the leadership team contributing to the development and execution of the business’s annual strategic plan.   This position is a senior staff level role at a BU and the individual will play a key role in guiding the strategic direction and leading the efficient execution of activities to profitably grow the business.

Reports directly to the BU Manager, with a dotted line to Division VP of HR.

Work closely with managers to provide expertise and hands on support in multiple areas including talent, diversity & inclusion, recruitment, workforce planning, on boarding, employee retention, employee relations, management coaching, performance management and change management

Advise managers on HR policies/programs including employee relations matters

Recommend improvements to policies, programs, and procedures related to the effectiveness of the HR function

Work closely with management/employees to improve work relationships, build morale, increase productivity and retention

Track and analyze metrics on talent, employee actions, terminations, and voluntary attrition to recommend actions as needed

BS degree with a minimum of 4+ years of HR generalist experience

Knowledge of Federal, State, and Local regulations

Goal-driven, self-starter with exceptional written and oral communication skills and an ability to handle interpersonal matters tact and diplomacy

Ability to multitask and establish rapport with all levels

    • This is based in NJ (Greater NYC) and oversees the full Business Unit. Reports to the BU Manager
    • Really cool business that makes the highly technical electronics speed slow motion cameras
    • Locations in NJ, CA, and Overseas, plus teams in Tokyo and Bangalore, total of about 150 employees with one direct report
    • Ideal candidate would be out of a rotation program with 4-7 YOE in a manufacturing/ heavy engineering industry
    • Base pay is $120-$150k with 15% annual cash bonus and 10% equity
